WINNIE – The LC-M Lady Bears will compete in the gold bracket of the East Chambers Tournament after winning three of four games Thursday and Friday.

On Friday, the Lady Bears defeated Halletsville 39-32 and Huffman 49-30.

Against Halletsville, Chelsea Perry had a nice double-double for the Lady Bears, scoring 17 points and snagging 10 rebounds to go along with three steals.

Zaria Johnson contributed 13 points, seven rebounds and six steals while Brittney Wyatt posted five points and six boards.

Against Huffman Perry notched 15 points, seven rebounds and five steals.

Karly Rogers had 10 points and seven rebounds and Brielle Butler added seven points and three rebounds.

The Lady Bears split a pair of games at the tournament Thursday.

The Lady Bears dropped their first game to Tomball 54-28.

Chelsea Perry led LC-M with 14 points and six rebounds while Brielle Butler tallied seven points.

The Lady Bears then nipped PN-G 44-42.

Perry led the way with 12 points. Post Karly Rogers had a double-double, scoring 10 points and yanking down 13 rebounds. Brittney Wyatt also had a double-double, scoring 10 points and grabbing 11 boards.
