WEST ORANGE — West Orange-Stark High School boys powerlifting competed at the THSPA Division 2 Region 4 Championships Thursday in Colmesneil.

“Congratulations to all of our lifters and their accomplishments this season,” a release from the school stated.

The following is how each lifter placed in their respective weight classes:

181 lb Class: 9th place – Marcus Turner with a total of 1,255 lbs

275 lb Class: 4th place – Josh Miller with a total of 1,495 lbs

SHW Class:

3rd place: State Qualifier – Elliott Adams – with a total of 1,420 lbs

8th place – Jadyn Rhodes – with a total of 1,180 lbs

12th place – Alex Hickman – with a total of 1,015 lbs

West Orange-Stark has one of its female athletes competing at state, and that is D’Ziya Evans.

Dates/location for state:

• TWSHPA Girls March 14-15 in Frisco
• THSPA Boys March 22-23 in Abilene
