Lady Cards wrap up solid SE Texas Invitational

The Bridge City Lady Cardinals competed in the Southeast Texas Invitational tournament this weekend finishing 3-1-2.

Scores were against Nederland 0-0, Huffman 3-1, Lufkin Hudson 0-2, Liberty 8-0, Silsbee 4-5, and Tarkington 11-3.

Kassidy Wilbur was 2-0 on the mound with one undecided game. Wilbur recorded 29 strikeouts while only allowing one earned run. The Lady Cardinals utilized the depth of their pitching staff this weekend only allowing 11 runs overall. Summer Black was 1-1 on the mound and Peyton Trapp was 1-0.

Outstanding hitters were Kassidy Wilbur went 8 for 16 with six RBI and two homers. Meagan Sourdellia was 6 for 15 with four RBI. Summer Black went 3 for 7 with four RBI and a homer.
