Lamar Institute of Technology in partnership with Beaumont Foundation of America will award four Jon M. Huntsman Sr. scholarships for first-time students pursuing degrees in Process Operating Technology or other petrochemical-related fields at Lamar Institute of Technology.

The scholarship is awarded for tuition, fees and books up to $2,000 per semester. The maximum duration of the scholarship is four consecutive semesters, which include fall and spring semesters only. Summer programs are not funded. To remain eligible, the student must maintain full-time student status (minimum 12 hours), comply with all reporting requirements, and maintain a minimum G.P.A. of 2.5 at the conclusion of each semester.
