Michael Vu, shown performing during a recent recital, performs for the residents at Sabine Assisted Living on Fridays. Vu, who has played the piano since he was four, has received numerous awards for his skills as a pianist in addition to being featured inthe Fall 2014 edition of the international magazine, Piano Guild Notes. He is a 7th grade student at Little Cypress Junior High where he is an all-A student in advanced classes. He was recently chosen to be a member of the National Junior Honor Society. He is involved in Student Council and the Interact club for volunteering. Michael is the 1^st chair saxophone player in his band and was on the 7^th grade football team as an offensive tackle and cornerback. Last year, he also received 1^st place in UIL Math and 4^th in UIL Spelling.
