Back To School Orange County

Back To School Orange County will offer free school supplies, Immunization Clinic for all children preK-18 years old. Vaccinations are free to students with CHIP and/or Medicaid. Valid card must be presented at the day of the event. Pre Registration is at Orange Christian Services located at 2518 West Park Ave. in Orange from 10 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Mon- Thurs. July 18- July 28. and Lamar State College Orange located at 410 West Front Ave., in Orange from 8 a.m. – Noon Sat. July 23. The event is 9 a.m. – Noon Saturday, August 13. Supplies are limited.

 

School Supply Drive

Gate City Guild #42, Cate City Commandery #43 and Gate City Lodge #31 will be giving away school supplies from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Lions Den Park in Orange. There will be free hotdogs, drinks and barber haircuts for the kids.

 

Chesson Benefit

The friends of Terrianne Chesson will be having a benefit to help her for recovery from gallbladder surgery at Just One More Tavern, 807 Simmons Drive, beginning at 11 a.m. There will be an auction, 50/50, cakewalks, washer and shuffleboard touyrnaments, dunking booth and several different raffles.
