Art in the Park, Annual Car Show coming to Downtown Orange

The 22nd Annual Art in the Park and 5th Annual Car Show is coming to Downtown Orange this week at Stark Park.

According to Explore Orange Convention and Visitors Bureau, this celebration on Saturday showcases the kaleidoscope of talents of local artists, alongside the timeless allure of vintage and custom automobiles.

With Art in the Park at its traditional location at Stark Park and the impressive Car Show lineup on Front Avenue, these two events are within walking distance of one another to provide entertainment for all ages and interests.

Spend the day strolling through Art in the Park to find unique gifts from more than 100 artists and market vendors from Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana.

Explore the Car Show, where enthusiasts and collectors marvel at the display of classic automobiles, from vintage models to roaring muscle cars, hot rods and custom vehicles.

Groove to the rhythm of live music performed by talented local musicians throughout the day while enjoying food from on-site vendors.

Schedule of Events (April 6)

  • 7 a.m.: Car Show Registration (free)
  • 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Art in the Park and Car Show
  • 11 a.m.: Osmosis Jones (live music)
  • 1:30 p.m.: Curse and the Cure (live music)

Whether attendees are art aficionados, automobile enthusiasts or looking for a fun-filled day out with the family, the attractions promise a day of creativity, classic cars, live music and delicious food.

No dogs or pets are allowed at Stark Park.
