During this COVID-19 crisis, LSCO Gators are finding ways to serve others.
Prior to classes moving online, our Pharmacy Technology students used their compounding skills to create orange and green hand sanitizer in keeping with the school’s colors of Gator green and orange. Faculty and staff members bottled and labeled the sanitizer that was then distributed on campus. Orange City Manager Mike Kunst even stopped by campus to pick up some sanitizer for essential city officials. President Johnson delivered some of the hand sanitizer as well as gloves and masks from our nursing programs to the Texas Department of Public Safety troopers working at the Texas-Louisiana state line. Those were also shared with Orange and Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
