The Stark Museum of Art and Shangri La Botanical Gardens and Nature Center are to remain open to the public, however, all special programming and events will be cancelled through April 4, 2020. The W.H. Stark House will not hold the second Friday and Saturday tours on March 13-14, 2020. As always, the Stark Museum of Art and Shangri La Gardens are free admission. Tad McKee, CEO of the The Nelda C. and H. J. Lutcher Stark Foundation said, “Our highest priority is the health and well-being of our community and employees. We want to be responsible and help keep our patrons, staff, and volunteers healthy.” The Nelda C. and H.J. Lutcher Stark Foundation will monitor the progress of the Covid-19 virus and will update as needed. For more information, please visit Starkculturalvenues.org. Recommendations if you visit Stark Cultural Venues are to practice good hand-washing, take advantage of the many hand-sanitizing stations throughout the venues, and honor the six-feet rule to keep a safe distance from other visitors.
