Temple Emanuel Sisterhood Celebrates 32nd Annual Deli-Day

Beaumont, Texas – The “Deli Dolls” of Temple Emanuel Sisterhood are in the kitchen preparing New York style Deli lunches complete with their famous cheesecakes for the 32nd Annual Deli Day.

Delivery of Deli Day lunches to your business, organization or home will take place on Wednesday, March 4 (for orders of 10 or more), or guests can dine-in with friends or drive-thru pick up on Thursday, March 5 at Temple Emanuel in Downtown Beaumont from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.

The Deli Day meal is typical New York delicatessen fair and includes a turkey or corned beef sandwich on rye bread, a bag of potato chips, Kosher dill pickle and Temple Emanuel Sisterhood’s famous coleslaw.  Trays for 10 or more sandwiches are available and tickets, which are on sale now, are $12 per meal. Deli Day is also synonymous with cheesecake! Whole cheesecakes are $30 and half are $20.

For 32 years, Deli Day has brought the community together in Beaumont’s only Jewish synagogue to enjoy a wonderful meal with friends while raising money for local charities and supporting Temple Emanuel’s Love Thy Neighbor initiative. It is a truly delicious and winning combination.
