Orangefield ISD delays restart of classes

The Orangefield Independent School District will not be returning to school on Wednesday, September 25h. There are still roads with water on them that cause significant safety considerations for school bus operations. Until these roadways clear, we will monitor the situation closely.
Orangefield Independent School District plans to reopen on Thursday, September 26. However, this is being monitored on a daily basis and is subject to change if necessary.
The safety of students, staff, and community are of utmost importance. All of those affected by Tropical Storm Imelda are in our thoughts and prayers as we move forward.
