It’s not over until God says it’s over

In sports, there have been some great comebacks.

The Red Sox were on the verge of elimination losing three games to none in a best of seven series only to come back and win four straight games.

My Detroit Red Wings were winning three games to one to the Black Hawks only to lose the next three and the series.

The Golden State Warriors were leading three games to one over the Cleveland Cavaliers only to lose the 2016 NBA Finals.

Two of the most memorable comebacks was the manifestation of the half time adjustments that enabled the Buffalo Bills to overcome a 32-point second-half deficit to beat the Houston Oilers and the New England Patriots 35 point second-half deficit to beat the Atlanta Falcons.

As we enter into the second half of this year, does it feel like the year is wasted? Does it feel like nothing has been going the way you planned? As long as there is time on the clock (breath in our body) it’s never over till God says it’s over.

The children of Israel were faced with what appeared to be a no-win situation, death on one side and destruction on the other, a place that some of us may feel we are.

God has drawn up adjustments not only to bring us out of the perception of losing but to secure victory. However, we must embrace the fact that plans will just be theory on paper unless we execution them the way they have been designed.

Without faith, trust, and execution of God’s plan, we can find ourselves missing out on the spoils of victory.

Some of us may have to walk through the Red Sea, some may have to endure the fiery furnace, and some of us may even be sleeping with lions, situations, and circumstances that can call to the emotions of defeat.

Effective execution may bring us to a place of change. One of the hardest things to do is to change the way we’ve been executing.

When tradition becomes tragic, it’s time to make adjustments. When the routine is leading to ruin, it’s time to make adjustments.

When doing it your way has caused you to lose your way, time to make adjustments.

Why not let God orchestrate, and we execute. We’re sure to WIN!!!!!!!
