Crochet Class
Crochet Class at 6:30 p.m. at Orange First Church of the Nazarene, 3810 M.L.K. Jr. Drive in Orange. The class is in the Dining Room behind the church. (Left side of the building)
Please bring a skein of Sports Weight yarn and a G hook. We are working on squares to be assembled into an afghan. You may keep your squares or donate them back. Donated squares will be assembled and donated to a local charity in December.

Elementary Kindergarten Round-Up
Mauriceville Elementary will hold Kindergarten Roundup on Tuesday, April 2. For the convenience of parents, there will be a morning session from 9 until 10 a.m. and an evening session from 6:30 until 7:30 p.m.
To register children to start school in the fall, parents must have the child’s birth certificate, social security card, shot record, and the parents’ driver’s license. The school also must see proof of residence, such as an electric or another utility bill. If you have questions, please contact LCE at 409-745-1615.

Golden K Kiwanis meeting
Golden K Kiwanis meets every Wed. from 9:45-10:45 a.m. in the meeting room of the Salvation Army Building, corner of MLK and Strickland, across from the Shell and fire station. The public is welcome to attend, and coffee is always served. Michelle Tubblefield, Special Projects/Communications Coordinator, Orange County, notes volunteer opportunities available. Orange native Julius Knolley, a West Orange-Stark High School and Texas Southern University graduate, will assist her in the presentation.
OC Parkinson Awareness Support Group
The Orange County Parkinson Awareness Support Group will have a special meeting on Wednesday- April 3, 2019, at 10 a.m. at St. Francis Catholic Church, 4300 Meeks Drive in Orange.
