Golden K Kiwanis meeting
Golden K Kiwanis will meet at 9:45 a.m. at the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club located at 1960 MLK in Orange. Kim McKinney, a counselor with The Garth House in Orange, will speak on this non-profit’s purpose, goals, and missions in Orange County, as well as cover the daily routine at The Garth House.

Bond Groundbreaking
West Orange-Cove CISD invites the public to attend our Bond Groundbreaking on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019, at Leroy D. Breedlove Field at Dan R. Hooks Stadium. The program will begin at 2 p.m. at West Orange-Stark High School, 1400 Newton in West Orange. We appreciate the support of our community.
Retirement Reception
A retirement reception for Port of Orange Port Director Gene Bouillion is 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. at the Orange Train Depot located at 1210 West Green Ave. in Orange.

Jackson Community Center (JCC) is partnering with Catholic Charities of Southeast Texas from 5:30 p.m. 8 p.m. to present the following topics:

Ribbon Cutting
Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a Ribbon Cutting at 10 a.m. for Polished Nails located at 3731 North 16th Street in Orange.
Saturday, March 2
Community Trash-Off and Tire Clean Up
Community Trash-Off and Tire Clean Up is scheduled for Saturday, March 2, 2019, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the City of Orange Boat Ramp, located on Simmons Drive in Orange, Texas with a rain date of March 9, 2019. This year’s Community Trash-Off is generously presented by INVISTA and hosted by Shangri La Botanical Gardens and Nature Center. Keep Orange County Beautiful (KOCB) is also hosting a Tire Drive during the event. KOCB, with the support of Superior Tires, is collecting old tires as part of the trash off initiative.
