Golden K Kiwanis meeting

Golden K Kiwanis meets every Wednesday, 9:30-10:30 a.m., at the Salvation Army Building, 1960 MLK Drive in Orange. One of Golden K’s favorite history buffs, Gerald Langham, a retired engineer, will give us more historical information about nearby local areas.  This will be his fourth time as a historical speaker in two years.

 

Parkinson Support Group Meeting

Keep Orange Clean

The Litter Squad will cleanup different locations throughout the city on the second Saturday of each month from 8 a.m. – 9 a.m. Locations will be determined and posted so that all groups and citizens are aware of and encouraged to attend. Please bring gloves and wear appropriate attire.

 

Monday, Feb. 11

OC Retired Teachers meeting

The next meeting of the Orange County Retired Teachers Unit will be held on Monday, February 11, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Wesley United Methodist Church, 401 37th Street in Orange. The guest speaker for our meeting will be Don Thomas of LSCO on Retiree’s Health.

The theme for the month is FIT AND FUN, with a salad bar and dessert. The Hosts for lunch will be Doris Wilson, Linda Renfro, Irelia Rhodes, Donald Rhodes, Ginger Williams, and Kay Kline. Please join us; bring your appetite!

Golden K Kiwanis meets every Wednesday, 9:30-10:30 a.m., at the Salvation Army Building, 1960 MLK Drive in Orange. Brenna Manasco, Main Librarian, City of Orange Public Library, will speak on programs available in the library, such as new e-books, CDs, DVDs, children’s library hour, special visuals such as movies, tax help to complete preparation, inter-library loan programs, book fairs, the annual library book sale, reference book assistance, and use of library computers (if cleared for use).
