FANNETT — The Bridge ˛Çity Lady Cardinal soccer team dropped a tough 1-0 decision to the Hamshire-Fannett Lady Longhorns in district action in Fannett Friday.

Kaitlyn Lawrence led the Bridge defense from the goal with four saves for the Cards. Bailey Turner and Gracie Lyons took charge on the back line and commanded the field. The Lady Cards had several shots on goal, but just couldn’t get any to connect.

The Lady Cards are on the road again Tuesday at Silsbee with the girls beginning at 5 p.m., and the boys following at 7 p.m.
