PRESS RELEASE — This morning, VISD Administration and Police investigated a threatening online post from a minor toward a Vidor Junior High student.  Because of the nature of this post, students were held in class temporarily.  There was not a lockdown, but we did take steps to ensure the safety of everyone. All students are safe and class will resume as normal.
