Pastor’s Farewell

Orange First Church of the Nazarene, 3810 M.L. King Drive in Orange, will host a Farewell Potluck Luncheon at 12 p.m. noon, following the morning service at, on Sunday, September 30 as we send Pastor Ray McDowell and his wife, Vicki, to their new position with the South Texas District. Join us for McDowell’s last sermon at 10:45 a.m. McDowell has served as senior pastor at OFCN for 10 years, and will become assistant district superintendent of the South Texas District of the Church of the Nazarene. Anger Management Classes

Wells of Agape is holding Anger Management Classes from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, at Life Church Orange located at 18389 Hwy. 62 in Orange (near State Hwy. 62 and Hwy. 105 intersection) Requirement to receive a Certificate of Completion is $30 per person, cash only. Mt. Zion Fellowship of Churches

Pastor L. R. Charlot and the Starlight Missionary Baptist Church

Family, located at 350 N. 37th Street in Orange, will host the Mt. Zion Fellowship of Churches on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at 3 p.m.  The message will be delivered by the host pastor and vice president of the Mt. Zion Fellowship, an anointed woman of God, Rev. L. R. Charlot.  Services will be held at Starlight Missionary Baptist Church in Orange, Texas.    Pastor I. Vallain, GodWay Ministries, President of the Mt. Zion Fellowship, and his congregation will also be in attendance.  The public is cordially invited to attend and fellowship with us in this great service.

 

Gospel Extravaganza

Feast of St. Therese Sunday

St. Therese Catholic Church, 1409 North 6th Street in Orange, will celebrate Feast of St. Therese Sunday with Mass at 9 a.m. on Oct. 28, 2018.

Soup Kitchen and Bread of Heaven Program

The Mount Sinai Baptist Church Congregation will open its Soup Kitchen and Bread of Heaven Program at 11:30 a.m. A nourishing hot meal and Words of Encouragement is being offered on that day. All are invited to participate. For more details, one may contact the office of the church at 886-2089.

 

Feeding the Hungry

Mt. Olive Baptist Church is Feeding the Hungry at 12 Noon gathering with prayer every Thursday at the Rosa Watson Caring Kitchen located at 106 West Park Ave. in Orange. Rev. Ronnie Crockett, pastor. For more information call 886-2508

Soup Kitchen

1st Presbyterian Church located at 902 Green Ave. in Orange offers lunch from 11:30 a.m. – 12:20 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays.
