Vernandez S. “Vern” Taylor, 56, was born July 24, 1962 in Galveston, Texas to Emanuel Taylor and Marina LeBlanc Taylor.  On September 28, 1991, Vern married the love of his life, Angela “Cissy” Taylor and remained inseparable until death. He was raised in Orange, Texas and later moved to Vinton, Louisiana where he resided for the past twenty five years.  He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and did mechanic work.  He departed this life Monday, September 17, 2018 at 5:50AM in a local hospital.  He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Angela Taylor of Vinton, La.; mother, Marina Taylor; father, Emanuel (Sarah) Taylor; daughter, Adrianna Taylor; and granddaughter, Annalyse Taylor all of Orange, Tx.; brother, Johnny Simien of Opelousas, La.; special aunts and uncle, Joseph and  Zinobia LeBlanc of Orange, Tx. and Irma Gallien of Vinton, La.; and a host of other relatives and friends.  His funeral will be 11AM Saturday, September 22, 2018 at St. James Baptist Church in Vinton, LA.  Pastor Ernest Budwine and Rev. Alex Tatum will officiate.  Burial will be in Benevolent Cemetery under the direction of James Funeral Home.  Visitation will be Saturday from 9AM in the church.
