To The Leader

Vidor ISD is transitioning to the CEP program for our children in VISD for the next 4 years. It is active now.

The CEP program is a federal program that allows all students to receive meals at no charge. All students will receive a free breakfast/milk and lunch/milk. Any snacks or ala carte items are excluded from this program but can be purchased as usual. Milk breaks are not included and meals for staff or adults is not included in this program.

The current meal applications are no longer effective and do not need to be completed. Another type of application is required and there will more on that later. If they are enrolled, they will receive their student id number that will be used to key in at meal time, just like they do now.

We have adjusted the students account to reimburse for breakfast and lunch on the first day of school and the students are not being charged for a breakfast/milk and lunch/milk going forward. Any snacks or ala carte item purchases will remain on their accounts.
