Special Program

St. Paul C.M.E. Church Missionary Society will host a special program at 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 29. Reverend Dr. Sheril Zeno, from True Faith Baptist Church of Jennings, LA will be the guest speaker. Each year our society through out our district presents scholarships to members. All 2018 graduates from all schools are invited to come out to hear motivating words of encouragement from Dr. Zeno and others. J’lon Douglas, a 2018 graduate from Little Cypress Mauriceville High School will be recognized. J’lon received most valuable player for 2017 and 2018. He will attend the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor on a football scholarship. He serves on the junior usher board at St. Paul C.M.E. Our missionary message to all graduates: Education is your passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to people who prepare for it today.

 

Soup Kitchen and Bread of Heaven Program

The Mount Sinai Baptist Church Congregation will open its Soup Kitchen and Bread of Heaven Program at 11:30 a.m. A nourishing hot meal and Words of Encouragement is being offered on that day. All are invited to participate. For more details, one may contact the office of the church at 886-2089.

 

Parenting Class

Wells of Agape is holding a Parenting Class from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, at Life Church Orange located at 18389 Hwy. 62 in Orange. Lunch is provided. Requirement to receive a Certificate of Completion is $30 per person, cash only. One must attend from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. to receive the certificate. Starlight Missionary Baptist Church    

350 N. 37th Street Rev. L. R. Charlot and congregation will celebrate the Church’s 117th Anniversary.  Services will be held Sunday, August 19, 2018 at 3:30 p.m.  Apostle U. Beverly of Jesus Christ Outreach Church, Port Neches,TX, will deliver the anniversary sermon accompanied by her choir and congregation.  The public is cordially invited to attend this spirit filled event.

 

Anger Management Classes

Wells of Agape is holding Anger Management Classes from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 7, at Life Church Orange located at 18389 Hwy. 62 in Orange (near State Hwy. 62 and Hwy. 105 intersection) Requirement to receive a Certificate of Completion is $30 per person, cash only. Feeding the Hungry

Mt. Olive Baptist Church is Feeding the Hungry at 12 Noon gathering with prayer every Thursday at the Rosa Watson Caring Kitchen located at 106 West Park Ave. in Orange. Rev. Ronnie Crockett, pastor. For more information call 886-2508

Prayer meeting headed by Pastor Curley Richard of Solid Rock Missionary Baptist Church from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Monday – Friday at 1207 Link Ave. in Orange.

 

Soup Kitchen

1st Presbyterian Church located at 902 Green Ave. in Orange offers lunch from 11:30 a.m. – 12:20 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays.
