Vacation Bible School

Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 106 West Park Ave. in Orange, will host vacation Bible School from Monday, July 9 – Thursday, July 12 for all ages. The theme for this year is Be a Part of the God Squad: Special Agent in Action based on 1 Peter 2:9. “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;” Snacks will be provided. Parenting Class

Wells of Agape is holding a Parenting Class from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Saturday, July 7, at Life Church Orange located at 18389 Hwy. 62 in Orange. Lunch is provided. Requirement to receive a Certificate of Completion is $30 per person, cash only. One must attend from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. to receive the certificate. Festive Buffet Social

Starlight Missionary Baptist Church located at 350 N. 37th Street in Orange and The Mt. Zion Fellowship of Churches will enjoy a festive buffet social at a local eatery to celebrate Christian fellowship.  The event will be held Sunday, July 8, 2018.  Rev. Issac Vallain of God’s Way Ministries is the president; Pastor L. R. Charlot of Starlight Missionary Baptist Church is the vice-president.

 

VBS

St. Andrew’s Church, located at Gladys & 23rd, Summer Vacation Bible School is here!!  You’re invited to an AMPED VBS experience as we lead kids to learn what it means to “Live Fully Alive!” We want kids to know that God is with you, God has a plan for you and that You are part of a bigger story!

Registration is free so hurry up and let’s get AMPED to “Live Fully Alive!”

Camp dates are July 16 – July 19 from 1 – 4 PM and will be offered to all incoming Kindergarteners through 5th-grade students.

Soup Kitchen and Bread of Heaven Program

The Mount Sinai Baptist Church Congregation will open its Soup Kitchen and Bread of Heaven Program at 11:30 a.m. A nourishing hot meal and Words of Encouragement is being offered on that day. All are invited to participate. For more details, one may contact the office of the church at 886-2089.

 

Citywide Family day

A citywide family day will be held from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday, July 21, at Navy Park in Orange. The park is located on Morrell Blvd. in Orange.

 

Feeding the Hungry

Mt. Olive Baptist Church is Feeding the Hungry at 12 Noon gathering with prayer every Thursday at the Rosa Watson Caring Kitchen located at 106 West Park Ave. in Orange. Rev. Ronnie Crockett, pastor. For more information call 886-2508

Soup Kitchen

1st Presbyterian Church located at 902 Green Ave. in Orange offers lunch from 11:30 a.m. – 12:20 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays.
