PRESS RELEASE — An additional charge has been filed on Jay Allen Hamilton, age 54 of Newton. The additional charge is Indecency with A Child Sexual Contact. Bond was set at $100,000.00 on this charge.

Hamilton was arrested on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 after a search warrant was executed at his Residence in the Pine Grove community of Newton County.

Jay Allen Hamilton, 54 was arraigned today, 4-27-2018 on the following charges:

1. Indecency with A Child Sexual Contact – $100,000 bond
2. Possession or Promotion of Child Pornography – $75,000 bond
3. Invasive Visual Recording – $25,000 bond
4. Possession or Promotion of Lewd Visual Material Depicting Child – $50,000 bond
5. Bestiality – $25,000 bond

Total Bonds are $275,000.
