WOS High School precision machine students win at District competition

West Orange – Stark High School precision machine students earned top honors at the District Speed Skills competition held recently.
Carlos Gutierrez Vilches earned first place in the speed skills machining contest. Bruce White placed second. Jacoven Hinson placed third. With the first place win, Vilches will now advance to State Competition in Corpus Christi.
In Precision Machine Job Exhibit competition, WOS Career Center students earned blue ribbons. They are Kade Cornett, Jonatan Ramirez, Bruce White, Carlos Gutierrez Vilches, Jacoven Hinson, and Raul Maya.
Hinson also won Best of Show in projects.
Carlo Paulino is the West Orange – Stark High School precision machine instructor.
