Daina and Jessie from Dollar General also visited the Oak Forest Elementary School’s portable buildings to present a check for $20,000 to purchase books for the school library when it re-opens in the future. Joining them on the back row were OF librarian Tayna Burges, grant writer Sally Andrews, and OF principal Carolyn Wedgeworth. In addition, a group of excited children showed up to say ‘THANK YOU, DOLLAR GENERAL!’
