Teaching Artist Karen Leonard with the Stark Museum of Art is making last minute adjustments to the 2018 juried student art exhibition: This Land Was Made for You and Me which will be on display at the museum from March 2 – June 2, 2018. The juried student art exhibition will complement the Stark Museum of Art’s special exhibition Paul Kane: Intrepid Artist and Adventurer October 21, 2017 – June 2, 2018. The exhibition of student artwork will be juried by Staff at the Stark Museum of Art, and will include up to 150 works of art created by K-12 artists in Region 5, Texas and Calcasieu Parish, LA. Artwork should depict an image inspired by the lakes, prairies, mountains, coasts, or deserts of the United States of America.
