The Jumping Bean Coffee Shop on Highway 87 across from Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School will be reopening it’s doors sometime next week with a new owner. Jodie Cates, left, from Mauriceville, who is buying the Jumping Bean from former owner and long time friend, Jackie McCall, right, plans to open the coffee shop sometime next week following the last of the inspections and paper work with a bouquet of balloons out front that will indicate the coffee shop is open and ready for business.  Cates said, “The Jumping Bean has always been a safe haven for the LC-M High School students and after many discussions and prayers the kids will continue to have a safe refuge where they can leave their problems at the door.”
