The Symphony of Southeast Texas Presents Pops 1 Concert, The Magical, Mystical World of John Williams

Beaumont, Texas – The Symphony of Southeast Texas presents their first Pops concert of the season, The Magical, Mystical World of John Williams! The concert will be Saturday, October 14, at 7:30 p.m. at the Julie Rogers Theatre.

John Williams is an American composer, conductor, and pianist. He has composed some of the most popular and recognizable film scores in cinematic history, to many of the highest-grossing films of all times, including Jaws, the Star Wars series, Superman, E.T., the Indiana Jones series, Home Alone, Schindler’s List, and Harry Potter, just to name a few.

This first Pops concert of the season will take listeners on a cinematic trip from Jurassic Park, to the epic descriptions from Schindler’s List, back to the galaxies of our space frontier through the music of Star Wars and then back into the time of Hogwarts and Harry Potter!

Tickets are still available for this show and can be purchased at www.sost.org, the Symphony office, or the Julie Rogers box office the day of the event.
