Samuel E. Brown, 90, passed away on June 3, 2017 in Tucson, AZ

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at 10:30 A.M., at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange, Texas. Officiating will be Monsignor Greig.

Sam was born in Kansas City, Missouri on December 3, 1926 to Victor V. and Sadie R. Brown.  He attended the University of Missouri and worked for Gerber Products Company for 34 years retiring in 1986.  Sam loved fishing, especially Trout fishing, gardening, watching westerns on TV and above all his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Jean Williams Brown of 67 years; his parents, Victor and Sadie Brown and his sister, Georgia Wallace.

Sam is survived by two sons, Victor W. Brown of Tucson, AZ and William A. Brown (Nancy) of Lee’s Summit, MO; grandchildren Nicholas Brown, Lee’s Summit, MO, Ryan Brown (Sara), Lone Jack, MO, Zoe Brown, Flagstaff, AZ; and great-grandchildren, Logan and Claire Brown, Lone Jack, MO and one sister,  Ella Douglas, Leawood, KS.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital

Now with his beloved wife again, he will be dearly missed.
