Local delivery vehicles, recreational vehicles or 5^th wheels are all welcome at Blue Beacon Truck Washes; they will clean it up just like they do a cross-country big rig. Blue Beacon plans to open a new location soon at the corner of Interstate 10 and State Highway 62 in Orange.

According to Marcia Stephenson, Marketing Manager for Blue Beacon Truck Washes the new location should open the second week of August.

“One of the reasons we are locating in Orange is because of the ease of access at the location,” Stephenson said. “We continually receive requests from our current customers suggesting locations like our new location in Orange.”

Blue Beacon partners with RV organizations like Family Motor Coach and Route 66 to familiarize members of those groups with the service they offer, which includes washing their vehicles. Blue Beacon Truck Washes serve truck drivers who traverse the highways along with local customers who have delivery trucks or recreational vehicles.

“We are consistent at all locations,” Stephenson said. “Truck washes and refrigerated rinse outs are done in the exact same way at all our locations.”

The consistency and reliability of their service, according to Stephenson, is what brings their customers back and compels those satisfied customers to suggest new locations.

Blue Beacon expects to employ 35-50 persons at their Orange facility. Nearly a dozen employees will transfer from their current location in Beaumont.   They have many long-term employees. Stephenson attributes the quality of their training program as a factor in retaining their employees long-term. Supervisors, some of which began working at age 16, will be brought in to train new employees at the Orange location. By promoting from within and using seasoned employees to train others, they ensure the reliability and predictability of their service.
