MMS student wins trip to Glassell School of Art

Mauriceville Middle School student, Bella Rogers, won “Best of Show” in the school division in the recent Houston Livestock and Rodeo Art Contest. She is eligible to attend the prestigious Glassell School of Art this summer and is excited about participating in the Advanced Portfolio Preparation Program in Houston.  Her artwork “Forever Soaring” will be on display during the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

Other MMS art students of teacher Kimberly Huckaby earning ribbons include Ashton Sumpter, Keeli Nicar, Bella Rogers, Elijah Hughes, Emma Bridges, Shana Philips, Joanna Daspit and Angelica Espinoza.
