Principal Ryan DuBose and Dr. Pauline Hargrove, Superintendent of Schools for Little Cypress-Mauriceville CISD, were the ribbon cutters at the public tour of the new Little Cypress Junior High. Dozens of staff, students, parents and former school attendees were on hand for the ribbon cutting and tour.

Dr. Hargrove welcomed the crowd and Mr. DuBose told the attendees how much the staff and students appreciate and are enjoying their new school. He also remarked that this has been a good opportunity to teach students the responsibility of taking care of their school and that they are being respectful of the new building.

The tour for the community was followed by a parent open house.
