Walter Land, Kiwanis District Trustee of Silsbee presented plaques to Bessie Mae Ford and Delores Cleaver for their years of service with Kiwanis. The Retirement Reception was held on Wednesday at the Sunset Country Club in Orange. Both ladies were spoken of highly as past presidents spoke of the ladies knowledge on Kiwanis and hope the spirit carries on and remains strong with the organization. Golden K Kiwanis, a group for over 50 Kiwanis, meet at 10 a.m. each Wednesday at Sunset Country Club in Orange.
