Over the summer, Little Cypress Intermediate School was notified by the Texas Action for Healthy Kids that they were being recognized as a school of success based on their yearend report that was in a grant submitted by Director of Health Services, Kelly Meadows, on behalf of Stay and Play. According to Meadows, “We were told that our project would be forwarded to the national Action for Healthy Kids as the entry from Texas. She emailed the school to inform the students had made the front page of the national’s website,www.actionforhealthykids.org.”
