Beaumont – Lamar Institute of Technology’s Utility Line Technology program will have its annual rodeo on Friday, May 6, 2016.

The event will take place at the Frank Robinson Center, 1135 MLK in Silsbee and the competition begins at 9:00 am.

Students will showcase their skills in six events: hurt man rescue, egg climb, insulator change, arrestor change, rigging and a surprise event. They will be judged on safety, proper work procedures and time. The public is invited to attend. A barbecue lunch will be served at noon.
