Special to The Leader

Vidor Independent School District will host Arts Afternoon on Friday, April 29 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the VISD Administrative Annex, 200 S. Archie Street.  The afternoon will feature some amazingly talented young people from Vidor High School and Vidor Junior High who will have artwork on display.  According to Assistant Superintendent Johnny Ross, “We have had some fabulous art in the past when we’ve held this event. We have paintings, drawings, collages, pottery, you name it.  We are always so proud to showcase the work of our students and thank their instructors for the time they spend on it.”

Also featured will be the talented students in the Vidor High School fine arts departments of music and theatre.  Mr. Adam Conrad and Mr. Bryan Brassard will bring actors, actresses, and vocalists to show off what they have done this school year.  Refreshments will be provided and the public is invited to come and see what VISD students are doing.
