Orange Community Players, a long time member, of will host the annual Southeast Texas Arts Council (SETAC) Hearts for the Arts Awards Ceremony and fund raiser beginning at 6 p.m. Sunday, February 14 at 708 West Division Street in Orange.

Following a delightful presentation of hors d’oeuvres furnished by the Old Orange Café, SETAC will present awards to members of the Art and Humanities community of Southeast Texas.

An annual recognition of Outstanding Achievements in the Arts and Humanities

will be presented.

After the Awards Ceremony, cast members of OCP’s Steel Magnolias will present a performance at 7:37 p.m. for the enjoyment of all attendees.

SETAC is pleased to show off the inner workings of this much loved theater to all attending this event. It will be especially gratifying for those who saw it shortly after it had a visit from Hurricane Ike. The backstage crew of the Playhouse worked diligently to make all areas of the theater accessible to visitors for this special event.

SETAC strives to promote knowledge and appreciation of the arts and humanities in

Jefferson, Orange, and Hardin Counties by providing financial assistance, publicity, administrative resources, and advocacy to local arts organizations.
