Tyler, Tx. – John Luther Doiron, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2015.
Born April 23, 1935, John was a Starks High School Graduate and lived most of his life in San Antonio. He retired from the Air Force after 22yrs, as a Tech Sgt. E-6. John also was in Aircraft Aviation. A San Antonio School Teacher, he liked fishing, dancing and genealogy. He loved spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Madison and Vienettia (Bass) Doiron; and brother Charles Doiron. Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Richard Doiron of Orange, Tx., Debbie McNeil and husband Bill of Aransas Pass, Tx. Paul Doiron of Aransas Pass, Tx., Tony Doiron and wife Karolyn of Orange, Tx. and Charles Doiron and wife Letitia of Tyler, Tx.; siblings, Nelvie Eldemire and husband Bruce of Cayman Isle; Elaine Kingrey and husband Glenn of Starks, La., Linda Anderson and husband Charles of Indiana, James Doiron and wife Margaret of Starks, La., Gerald Doiron of Orange, Tx. and Louise DeDoux and husband John of Lake Charles, La.; 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2:00pm Friday, January 22, 2016 at Starks VFW Cemetery with Pastor Karl Smith of the First United Pentecostal Church officiating. Visitation at graveside will begin at 1:30pm till service time.
