Special to The Leader

The 2015 Special Angels Rodeo, scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, November 14, will be moving to a new site. Due to recent rainfall in the area and with more predicted in the days leading up to the event, the Special Angels Rodeo board has decided to relocate from our home at the Orange County Sheriff’s Posse Arena to the T2 Arena Event Center located at 3810 Old Peveto Road, Orange, Texas 77632. This will allow us to ensure the safety and comfort of all of our participants and volunteers. Registration is still open for participants and volunteer opportunities are available.

Built in 2014, T2 Arena and Event center is a 43,200 sq. ft covered arena facility loaded with opportunities. The entire building has state of the art lighting, fans along with a cool breeze to keep you comfortable in the summer months and an infrared heating system to keep you toasty in the winter months. A sprinkler system is also available making the all sand/sawdust, dust controlled footing safe and enjoyable when working livestock inside.

Special Angels Rodeo is the premier adaptive sports rodeo event in Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana. This event is open to all special needs individuals regardless of age, disability, or county of residence and is completely free for all of participants and their families. Each of the events is adaptable to meet most any need of participants to guarantee the best experience for all involved.
