Tennison Tournament all set in Orangefield, strong boys and girls brackets

ORANGEFIELD — The Orangefield Bobcats and Lady Bobcats will both be hosting the Bill Tennison Tournament Dec. 6-8, Thursday through Saturday at Orangefield High School.
Girls games scheduled for Thursday in the new gym include Orangefield vs. WO-S (noon), FTCA vs. West Brook (3 p.m.) and Orangefield vs. Liberty (7:30 p.m.). Girls games at the old gym Thursday includes Nederland vs. WO-S (9 a.m.), West Brook vs. Vidor (10:30 a.m.) and Silsbee vs. FTCA (6 p.m.).
The boys bracket will consist of two pools.
Pool A is Orangefield, WO-S, Hamshire-Fannett, Legacy and Liberty while Pool B will have Splendora, East Chambers, Jasper, FTCA and Woodville.
Boys games in the new gym Thursday will be Orangefield vs. WO-S (9 a.m.), East Chambers vs. Jasper (10:30 a.m.), Splendora vs. Woodville (1:30 p.m.), East Chambers vs. Woodville (4:30 p.m.) and Orangefield vs. Hamshire-Fannett (6 p.m.). Boys games in the old gym Thursday will be Legacy vs. WO-S (noon), FTCA vs. Jasper (1:30 p.m.), Liberty vs. Hamshire-Fannett (3 p.m.), Splendora vs. FTCA (4:30 p.m.) and Liberty vs. Legacy (7:30 p.m.).
Girls games at the new gym Friday will consist of Silsbee vs. Vidor (10:30 a.m.), Nederland vs. Liberty (1:30 p.m.), West Brook vs. Silsbee (4:30 p.m.) and Orangefield vs. Nederland (6 p.m.). Girls games at the old gym Friday will include Liberty vs. WO-S (10:30 a.m.) and Vidor vs. FTCA (4:30 p.m.).
Boys games at the new gym Friday will consist of Orangefield vs. Legacy ( 9 a.m.), Liberty vs. WO-S (noon), East Chambers vs. FTCA (3 p.m.) and Orangefield vs. Liberty (7:30 p.m.). Boys games at the old gym Friday will include WO-S vs. Hamshire-Fannett (9 a.m.), Hamshire-Fannett vs. Legacy (noon), Woodville vs. FTCA (1:30 p.m.), Splendora vs. Jasper (3 p.m.), East Chambers vs. Splendora (6 p.m.) and Jasper vs. Woodville (7:30 p.m.).
The Girls championship game is slated for 3:30 p.m. in the new gym Saturday while the Boys championship will be at 5 p.m. in the new gym.
In other tournament action this week for the boys, LC-M is at the Hardin-Jefferson Tournament while Bridge City ventures to the Central Heights Tournament. The LC-M Lady Bears will participate in the Anahuac Tournament.
