JASPER — Going on the road Monday, the Orangefield Lady Bobcats throttled the Jasper Lady Bulldogs 9-0 in non-district softball action.

Codie Sorge got the win on the mound with a one-hit shutout. Sorge surrendered a lone single in the bottom of the fifth. Sorge finished the game with seven strikeouts.

Ryden Stanfield went 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBIs and two runs scored. Karlye Bramblett went 1- for-3 with a double and an RBI. Autumn Frost went 2-for-4 with a double, a RBI and a run scored. Codie Sorge went 1-for-2 with a double, an RBI and a run scored. Emma Humplik went 2-for-3 with a triple, two runs scored and an RBI. Kristin Broussard reached on a HBP and a walk and scored two runs with two stolen bases.

The Lady Bobcats improve their record to 15-4-1.

The game originally scheduled against Kelly has been cancelled. Instead the Lady Bobcats travel to Tarkington at 11 am on Wednesday morning.
