Fourth of July celebration returns to Orange

ORANGE — An evening of fun for the whole family is on tap to celebrate Independence Day in Orange County.
The Orange Convention and Visitors Bureau has announced an evening of music and fireworks for the whole family to celebrate the Fourth of July. The event will be held from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m., Saturday, July 4 at the Orange Riverfront Pavilion, which is located at 601 W. Division in downtown Orange.
The event promises to be one of quality fun for the whole family and will feature plenty of activities for all ages. Live music by the Orange County-based group, The Ruxpins, will take place from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a spectacular fireworks extravaganza to follow over the waters of the Sabine River.
Children will have plenty of entertaining things to keep them occupied as well with bounce houses  and face-painting. Tasty treats such as snow cones and ice cream will be available, and food vendors will also be on site.
The event is free and open to the public. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets to sit on. No pets are allowed.
The Orange Convention and Visitors Bureau was not available for comments on Friday.
