Patsy Ann (Longron) Lovelace

Patsy Ann (Longron) Lovelace, 76, of Orange, Texas, passed away at her home on Sunday, June 18, 2017.  Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, June 22, 2017, at Dorman Funeral Home; Pastor Tony Story officiating.  Rite of Committal and Interment will immediately follow the funeral service at Autumn Oaks Memorial Park.  Visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00PM- 8:00PM on Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at Dorman Funeral Home.

Patsy was born on Friday, October 4, 1940, to Ethel Mary (Richard) and Robert Lee Longron, in Orange, Texas.  She was a woman who dearly loved the Lord and attended the Family Worship Center, in Pinehurst, Texas.  Patsy was a loving wife and mother, who devoted her life to taking care of her children; sacrificing everything for her family and always standing behind her children when they were young, and as adults.  She was a very caring woman, who was always honest and never afraid to speak her mind.  At home, she could often be found in her yard or looking through her patio window, to admire her beautiful flowers.  Patsy was a wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friends who will be missed by all who knew her.

Proceeding Patsy in death are her mother, Ethel Young; father and step-mother, Belle and Robert Longron; late husband, Lawrence Gamble; and grandson, Gary Alan Bradley.

Those who will cherish her memory most are her loving husband, William “Bill” Lovelace; daughters, Vickie Lewis of Orange, Texas; Janois Grizzaffi and husband, Mark, of Orangefield, Texas, and Kaylee Aitchison and husband, Darrell, of Orange, Texas; sons, Wayne Cockrell and Cheryl Wukasch, of Orangefield, Texas; Donovan Weldon and wife, Bobbie, of Orangefield, Texas, Raymond Weldon of Mauriceville, Texas, and Jeff Gamble and wife, Lynn, of Orangefield, Texas; step-sons, William A. “Billy” Lovelace, Jr. of Houston, Texas, and Paul Lovelace of Houston, Texas; brother, Douglas Longron and wife, Cindy; step-brother, Steve Longron; sister, Barbara Longron Smith; grandchildren, Allan Cockrell, Robert Cockrell, Aimee Weldon, Jessica McCauley and husband, Daniel, Donovan Weldon, II, Barbara Ann Ricks, Lauren Darby and husband, Thomas, Casey Gamble, Ashlyn Lopez, Cody Strause, Mason Grizzaffi, Cassie Grizzaffi, Rodney Mosier, Ericka Mosier, and Megan Mosier; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous members of extended family, and friends.

Honoring Patsy as pallbearers are Allan Cockrell, Robert Cockrell, Donovan Weldon, II, Casey Gamble, Cody Strause, and Daniel McCauley.
