2016 Aggie Mom Scholarships awarded

Orange County Texas A&M University Mothers Club awarded over $5000 this year in scholarship money for incoming Class of 2020 Aggies.

Drake Trawhon received the Kreggor Smith Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $1,600.  He is a recent graduate of Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School and the son of Todd and Trema Trawhon. Drake has been accepted to the Dwight Look College of Engineering at TAMU.

The Orange County Aggie Moms also presented scholarships in the amount of $1,300 to Molly Anthony, Vincent (Vinny) Hale, and Rebekah Newell.

Molly Anthony, Orangefield High School graduate, is the daughter of Duane and Karen Anthony. Molly plans to study biology at Texas A&M.

Vinny Hale is the son of Lacey Hale and Michael Hale. He graduated from Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School and will study at TAMU Mays Business School.

Rebekah Newell, Orangefield High School graduate, is the daughter of Keith and Teresa Newell. Rebekah was accepted to TAMU to study Education and Human Development.
