Mr. Lindstrom L. Campbell

The Celebration of Life for Mr. Lindstrom L. Campbell, 66 of Orange, will be Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church.

Rites of Christian Burial will follow in Hollywood Community Cemetery under the direction of Sparrow Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. at the Church.

A dearly loved family member and friend to all who knew him, he departed this life February 22, 2017.

Mr. Campbell was born on December 4, 1950, to Isaac Jr. and Leola Degay Campbell. Following his graduation from Lutcher Stark High School in 1968, Mr. Campbell moved to Los Angeles, California where on April 17, 1971, he married Elizabeth Carol Mims also from Orange, Texas. Mr. Campbell enjoyed an active career as an insurance adjuster and business owner. He returned to Orange in 2006.

Along with his wife and best friend Elizabeth, Lindstrom will be deeply missed by his children—son Dr. Timothy Chargois (Imogene) of Beaumont, Texas; daughters Angelyque Campbell of Silver Spring, Maryland, Dr. Cynthya Campbell Palmer (Timothy) of Chicago, Illinois, and Dr. Rosalyn Campbell of Lawrenceville, Georgia; his sister Frances Satterfield (Rodney) of Discovery Bay, California; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Willie Jean Ringgold.
