Marie Louise Clark LaPoint

Marie Louise LaPoint, 81, of Orange, passed away on May 27, 2017.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Thursday, June 1, 2017, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Officiating will be Msgr. Kenneth Greig. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Orange.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a rosary and reading at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.

Born in Port Neches, Texas, on March 20, 1936, she was the daughter of Marcel Clark and Josephine (LeBlanc) Clark.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert LaPoint; and her son, Gary LaPoint.

She is survived by her children, Debby Primeaux of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Dianna Jones and her husband Buddy of Orange, Texas, Donna Reid of Sulphur, Louisiana, Darlene Harrison of Orange, Texas, and Kenneth LaPoint and wife Stephanie of Portsmouth, Virginia; her 12 grandchildren; her 20 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild due in August; and a brother, Sidney Clark of Nederland, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers will be Donovan Primeaux, James Primeaux, Lawrence Harmon, David Barron, Christopher Simon, and Kenneth LaPoint.
