Margaret Elizabeth Broussard (Blanchard) Pellerin

 

Margaret Elizabeth Broussard (Blanchard) Pellerin, 87, of Orangefield, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas.

Margaret was born November 7, 1929 in Port Arthur, Texas. She was a lifelong resident of Groves. She retired from Bruce’s Market Basket and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church for 32 years, and St. Helen’s Catholic Church of Orangefield.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Agnes Broussard; and her adopted parents, Joe and Eunice Blanchard; grandson, Michael Scott Woodfield; four sisters and five brothers.

Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Milton Joseph Pellerin, Sr. of Orangefield;  son, Milton J. Pellerin, Jr. and his wife Trudy  of Bridge City; daughters, Linda Girard and her husband George of Magnolia Springs, Evelyn Plessala of Orange, Vickie  Hubert and her husband Stevan of Groves, Natalie  Ballard and her husband Bruce of Groves, and Mary Martin and her husband BooBoo of Groves; sisters, Lenora Hayes of Lake Arthur, LA  and Ellen Springfield of Odessa; brothers, Dickie Blanchard of Odessa, and Pete Blanchard of Ruidoso, NM; seventeen grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren; and her four-legged Toby .

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 23, 2017 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, Texas. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday evening from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m., with a Rosary Service at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
