Martha Bynog Bradford

Melville – Funeral service and visiting was held for Mrs. Martha Bynog Bradford from noon to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 13, 2018 in the First Pentecostal Church of Melville. Pastor Samuel Ham officiated the funeral service and committal.

Interment will be held in the Pinegrove Baptist Church Cemetery, 972 Blade Loop, Jena, LA, 71342 at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2018.

Mrs. Bradford was born in Natchitoches, LA. She was diagnosed with cancer in February 2018 and went to be with the Lord on Sunday morning at 2:34 a.m. while living at her daughter’s home in Jonesville, LA. She was 77.

She was happy. Cheerful. Loved to travel and was a faithful organist to the First Pentecostal Church of Melville and First Pentecostal Church of Starks for over 50 years. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Herbert Ray Bradford of Jonesville, LA; son, Wendell Ray Bradford and wife Chelly of Sulphur, LA; daughter, Gwendolyn Bradford of Jonesville, LA; sister, Rosemary Young and husband Jay of Grand Prairie, TX; three grandchildren, Tyler Spell, Katie Bradford and Camden Bradford.

She is preceded in death by her grandson, Matthew “Matt” Spell; sister, Patsy Ann Bynog; brother, Baron Bynog, Jr and her parents, Baron and Margie V. Leo Bynog.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in memory of Martha’s grandson, James Matthew Spell.

LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Melville was entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
