Gloria Elouise Wyche

A celebration of Gloria Elouise Wyche’s Life, age 92, of Jasper, will be 11:00 A.M., Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until service time. Graveside Services will be at 3:30 P.M. Thursday in Guedry Cemetery in Batson, TX.

Gloria died November 27, 2016 in Jasper, TX. A native of Saratoga and a former longtime resident of Orange, she lived the past 4 years in Jasper. A former member of North Orange Baptist Church and a member of First Baptist Church of Jasper, she was very active in her church and enjoyed Sunday school class. Most of all, she loved to be with her family and friends.

Gloria is survived by her son, A.R. “Buddy” Wyche & wife Judy of Jasper; daughter, Bonnie Karr & husband Ken of Lumberton; grandchildren, Rob Karr, Michael Karr, Krissy Melancon & husband Dana, Bob Wyche & wife Michell, and Ginny Davis & husband Gerald; 9 great grandchildren, Noah Karr, Dallas Karr, Karley Karr, Devon Karr, Kelli Corbell, Hunter Wyche, Daniel Erwin, Parker Melancon, and Kaleb Peoples; as well as 2 great-great grandchildren, Aria Corbell and Charlotte Karr.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, William Alton & Louise Alton-Farr; and husband, Arthur Raymond Wyche Sr.

Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Jasper.
