Daisy Ann Guillotte

Daisy Ann Guillotte, 99, of Orange, Texas, passed away on May 11, 2020, at her home.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 14, 2020, St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Orange. Officiating will be Deacon Tommy Ewing.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., Thursday, May 14, 2020, with a rosary at 1:00 p.m., at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Orange, Texas, on April 7, 1921, she was the daughter of Oscar Guillotte and Blanche (Daigle) Guillotte. Daisy went to St. Mary Catholic School in her youth and continued to faithfully support the school and attend St. Mary Catholic Church. She graduated from Carr High School in Orange and was a member of St. Mary Alter Society, Catholic Daughters and the Legion of Mary. She cross-stitched beautifully and loved spending time with her family. Daisy enjoyed going to the casinos and traveling with her sisters, having visited every state in the United States with the exception of Alaska. She thoroughly looked forward to her annual trips to Branson with her sisters. Daisy’s family will miss her kind heart, warm spirit, and loving smile as they look back and cherish the time they spent with her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Blanche Guillotte; sisters, Inez Ewing, and May Dugas; and brothers, Chester Guillotte, and Eugene Guillotte.

She is survived by her sisters, Pearl Guillotte, and Theresa Guillotte; and nieces and nephews, Gertie Ewing, Bobbie Linscomb, Robert Ewing Jr., Susan Hantz, Debbie Lambert, Joyzell Dugas, Jeannie Breaux, Greg Guillotte, Michael Guillotte, and Kim Byerly.

Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Linscomb and Parker Linscomb.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Mary Catholic School at 2600 Bob Hall Rd. Orange, Texas, 77630.
